Exhibition project
+ 90,000 m2 of gross exhibition space
A new event layout, designed to expand the exhibition area, extended over both wings (east and west) of the Rimini Exhibition Centre. Alongside the spaces reserved for KEY's seven product sectors (photovoltaics, wind energy, hydrogen, energy storage, energy efficiency, electric mobility and sustainable cities), special areas dedicated to transversal projects, networking, innovation and training will grow.
Within a new exhibition route that encourages visitation and increases business opportunities, KEY develops on the 7 thematic and product pillars, strengthening them by dedicating defined and connected spaces to them. Click on the image and discover the individual sectors.
The seven exhibition sectors
SEC - SOLAR EXHIBITION & CONFERENCE
SEC is the exhibition project realised together with Italia Solare. The area proposes itself as a technological showcase on one of the most central sectors for the energy transition, addressing topics ranging from residential to utility scale, from photovoltaics for industry to agri-voltaics.
WEM - WIND EXPO FOR MED
WEM tells the story of wind energy in all its forms: from onshore wind power, which is struggling to get going slowed down by a thousand regulatory and authorisation difficulties, to offshore wind power with its many unknowns for the future and its many expectations, through to established mini-wind power and renewable energy community projects starting with wind energy.
The project is dedicated to static storage, i.e. storage for the residential and industrial sectors and utility scale. On display are not only electrochemical storage but also numerous other energy storage technologies (e.g. thermal storage, hydroelectric pumping systems, etc.).
Italian Exhibition Group and Hannover Fairs International GmbH (HFI), are promoting within KEY - The Energy Transition Expo the HYPE- Hydrogen Power Expo supported by Hydrogen & Fuel Cells: a place dedicated to the discussion of hydrogen issues and its importance for the energy transition.
EFFI - ENERGY EFFICIENCY EXPO
Transversal to all sectors involved in the energy transition EFFY is interested in products and services that enable an efficient use of resources, i.e. less use and more energy savings. Involving stakeholders from the industrial and residential sectors.
EME - e-MOBILITY EXPO
The area dedicated to electric and sustainable mobility, from the latest technologies for charging infrastructures and electrification of company fleets to interconnection services.
SUSTAINABLE CITY
An exhibition area but also a laboratory of ideas for designing the future of cities from a sustainable perspective, where developments are told from the perspective of digitisation and urban regeneration.
