Italian regions play a key role in the energy and climate transition, contributing to national goals. This year, Italy for Climate will present CIRO 2025, the evolution of the first database dedicated to the climate and energy performance of Italian regions, developed in collaboration with ISPRA.

Originally launched in 2024 and part of the SISTAN (National Statistical System), the updated database includes 26 indicators across eight thematic areas, providing up-to-date data on the performance of Italy’s 20 regions, highlighting trends and best practices.

The event will provide an opportunity to analyze results, foster dialogue between institutions, local authorities, and businesses, and strengthen decarbonization strategies at the regional level.
