KEY . THE ENERGY TRANSITION EXPO EXPANDS ITS INTERNATIONAL VOCATION

• From 28th February to 1st March, the IEG (Italian Exhibition Group) energy transition event with 35% of foreign brands and about 300 buyers and international delegations from 57 countries expected at Rimini Expo Centre.


Rimini, 21st February 2024 . KEY . The Energy Transition Expo is becoming increasingly international. For its second edition, scheduled to take place at Rimini Expo Centre from 28th February to 1st March, the IEG (Italian Exhibition Group) event of reference in Southern Europe, Africa and the Mediterranean basin is extending the number of countries in attendance and involving all those that demonstrate a potential and strong demand for innovative technologies and solutions for the energy transition.

Thanks to collaboration with the sector´s leading foreign associations, a network of worldwide agents and the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ITA . Italian Trade Agency, the show will host about 300 buyers and delegations from 57 countries, with North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe and the Balkan Area being the most represented areas.
International brand participation has also increased with the attendance of major companies, market leaders within their target areas: over 30% more exhibiting brands than in 2023 from 25 countries are expected. About 35% of exhibitors will come from abroad.

KEY´s strong international vocation is also confirmed by the conference program defined by its Technical Scientific Committee in collaboration with the sector´s main Associations.
International appointments will include an important preparatory event for the G7 Energy in Turin organised by RES4Africa and entitled Scaling-Up a sustainable electrification in Africa, for Africa with Africa. RES4Africa Side Event - Towards G7 Energy. The meeting, divided into two sessions dedicated respectively to North Africa and the Middle East and Sub-Saharan countries, will focus on the need to speed up sustainable electrification in Africa in order to meet the growing demand for energy and support the continent´s economic and social development, and the importance of Afro-Italian cooperation for a clean and fair energy transition.
