Andrea Boraschi
Andrea Boraschi is director of the Italian office of Transport & Environment, Europe's leading climate and transport organization. He has many years of experience in campaigning and advocacy strategies.
From 2011 to 2018 he was Head of Climate and Energy at Greenpeace Italy, designing and implementing campaigns for national referenda on nuclear and offshore drilling, and the victorious campaign to convince Enel to abandon coal in thermoelectric generation.
Prior to his time at Greenpeace, he was editor of A Buon Diritto and consulted on political communication. He has a PhD in Sociology of Communication, has taught Political Communication at IULM in Milan, and has been a lecturer in various master's programs.
He has collaborated with several national newspapers as a political commentator, and for years with a column on civil liberties.
