Batteries: from design to implementation

The implementation and operation of a portfolio of battery storage systems is a complex and multidisciplinary challenge that, starting from the study of the general context and the identification of the projects and the related investments to be supported, involves a complex construction and commissioning phase and a subsequent, equally crucial, structured operation (asset management, operation and maintenance). The event will provide an opportunity to offer a broad summary of key storage issues with a focus on the fundamental needs of those who concretely have to deal with translating a development project into functioning works. Indeed, it is crucial to be able to provide answers and guidance to those who have to deal with the operational implementation of an investment initiative in battery storage facilities. The execution of a project of this nature requires dealing in depth with EPC and procurement issues, engineering solutions, site complexities, insurance and warranty aspects, achievement of target performance, and critical testing and acceptance issues.
