- organized by AERO - Association of Offshore Renewable Energy
The year 2025 represents a crucial opportunity for the offshore renewable energy sector to initiate, in Italy, the construction of strategic infrastructure, which is fundamental for the support and implementation of the related projects. This will allow our country to establish itself in the Mediterranean as an international platform for the development of this sector. Offshore wind and solar will make a major contribution to achieving the European Union's ambitious decarbonization goals. The development of shipbuilding and the adaptation of ports for the construction and assembly of wind turbines will strengthen the technological supply chain of renewables from the sea, representing a unique opportunity for sustainable industrial growth and for the reconversion of strategic assets currently in great difficulty.
