EPBD IV, known to many as the “Green Homes Directive,” has triggered a contentious debate about the environmental and economic benefits related to its applicability.

In reality, there are a variety of examples of buildings, of different sizes and uses, that are already substantially in line with what the new version of the directive requires. The conference, through the analysis of case studies and good practices, aims to highlight how the knowledge and proper use of certain tools allow to achieve the energy-environmental goals set by the directive while enhancing the value of the work, and to give a hint on how some points of EPBD IV can be implemented on a national scale.
